Tastings & Experiences
Open to the Public – Experiences for All Ages
Timber Creek Distillery is open to the public. We welcome guests of all ages. We are a real, working distillery. At the same time, we are also a place to gather, learn, and spend time together. Because we make spirits on site, we limit alcohol service to guests who are 21 years of age or older.
Even so, many of our experiences are open to families and younger visitors.
Distillery Tour (All Ages Welcome)
Our Distillery Tour focuses on education first. It is not just about tasting. Instead, it is about learning how spirits are made. Guests walk through each step of the process.
They see how we mill grain. They see how we cook it.
We explain fermentation, which is the stage where yeast turns sugar into alcohol. Then we show how distillation works and how we age spirits in barrels.
Guests under 21 are welcome on this tour. They can see the equipment. They can ask questions. They can learn the full process.
Spirits Tastings (21+ Only)
Our Spirits Tastings are different.
These sessions focus on sampling finished products.
Because tasting is the main part of the experience, we limit it to guests who are 21 and older. During the tasting, we talk about flavor, aroma, and how grain choices affect the final spirit. We check valid identification at check-in.
Bourbon Blending Experience (21+ Only)
The Bourbon Blending Experience is fully hands-on.
Guests taste separate grain whiskeys. Then they blend them to create a custom bottle. Because the experience requires tasting throughout, we reserve it for guests 21 and over.
Wine & Chocolate Pairing (21+ Only)
Our Wine & Chocolate Pairing follows the same rule.
Guests sample wine while pairing it with selected chocolates.
Since alcohol is served during the entire event, it is available only to those 21 and older.
Pizza Saturdays & Axe Throwing (All Ages Welcome)
On the other hand, Pizza Saturdays are open to everyone.
Families can eat together. Friends can gather. Kids can enjoy the farm setting. In addition, Axe Throwing does not require guests to be 21. These activities give younger visitors a way to take part in the experience without alcohol.
In short, we keep things clear and simple. All ages may visit Timber Creek Distillery. Educational tours, food events, and outdoor activities are open to everyone. Alcohol tastings and blending experiences remain reserved for guests 21 and older. This balance helps us stay welcoming, responsible, and fully compliant while offering meaningful experiences for every guest.
Can I book a private tasting or group event?
Absolutely. Timber Creek welcomes private tastings, corporate groups, bachelor/bachelorette parties, and other gatherings. They offer customizable experiences depending on group size and preferences — reservations are required.
