Custom Private Label Spirits Made in Florida
Timber Creek Distillery operates a full private label distillery program from our working grain-to-glass facility in Crestview, Florida. We produce custom private label spirits for restaurants, hotels, resorts, retailers, military units, non-profits, event planners, and entrepreneurs launching new brands. Unlike most private label alcohol manufacturers, we distill from raw grain rather than bottling bulk neutral spirit sourced from a third party. Every bottle that leaves our facility represents actual production — fermented, distilled, aged, blended, and bottled by our team.
Our private label program covers whiskey, bourbon, vodka, rum, gin, scotch-style and American single malt whiskey, and a growing custom wine program built around small boutique California producers. Minimums start at 10 cases (60 bottles) per product, which makes the program accessible to bars launching a house pour, resorts building a signature amenity, or entrepreneurs testing a concept before scaling to distribution.
Private Label vs. White Label Liquor — What’s the Difference?
The terms “private label” and “white label” are often used interchangeably in the spirits industry, but they describe slightly different arrangements.
White label liquor is a generic spirit produced in bulk by a manufacturer and sold under any buyer’s brand name. The product is pre-made and standardized. Multiple clients may receive identical liquid under different labels.
Private label spirits are custom-produced for a specific client. The recipe, blend, proof, and character can be tailored to the brand’s goals. The client effectively commissions a spirit rather than choosing from an existing catalog.
Timber Creek operates on the private label model. Because we distill in-house from raw grain, we can adjust the mash bill, select the blending profile, control the proof, and shape the finished spirit to match a partner’s vision. Partners who want a faster, lower-cost option can still select from our existing award-winning spirits and add a custom label — that’s closer to the white label approach, and it’s also available through our program.
What We Produce
The following sections cover the private label categories we produce in-house at Timber Creek Distillery. Each category can be customized in flavor, proof, blend, and presentation to match a partner’s brand.
Private Label Whiskey & Bourbon
Our private label distillery whiskey program is our most requested category. We produce custom Florida whiskey and bourbon-style spirits from corn, wheat, rye, and barley — each grain fermented and distilled separately, then aged in new charred white oak barrels before blending. This separate grain distillation approach is rare in the industry. It allows us to build a final mash bill through blending rather than locking into a fixed recipe at fermentation, which means partners can shape the sweetness, spice, structure, and finish of the finished spirit until it matches the brand identity.
Bourbon private label partners typically start by tasting our existing whiskey components — straight bourbon, rye-forward blends, wheated expressions, and aged single-grain spirits — then work with our team to build a house profile. Our pricing for private label whiskey up to 100 proof is $40 per bottle, with a minimum of 10 cases (60 bottles). Higher proofs and longer-aged expressions are available on request.
Partners interested in seeing the blending process firsthand can also book the Bourbon Blending Experience, which walks through the same workflow we use when developing private label whiskey blends.
Private Label Vodka
Our Florida Vodka is a gold-medal, grain-to-glass vodka distilled from wheat grown on Florida farms. Our Destin vodka is made from corn. For private label vodka partners, we can produce it under a custom brand at $20 per bottle with a 60-bottle minimum. The finished spirit is neutral per TTB specification but retains a clean, slightly sweet character from the corn base. The Wheat vodka is drier, more austere. Both are a noticeable upgrade from commodity white label vodka produced from anonymous bulk neutral spirit.
Partners can commission straight vodka under their label or work with our team on flavored or infused expressions. Common applications include house vodkas for bar programs, branded event pours for weddings and corporate functions, and signature bottles for retail operations.
Private Label Rum
Our Florida Rum is distilled from sugar cane and aged in-house. Private label rum partners can work with our team on white rum, aged rum, spiced rum, or proprietary expressions finished in custom barrels. Pricing is $20 per bottle with a 60-bottle minimum. Rum is a particularly strong fit for coastal restaurants, resorts on the Emerald Coast, and tiki-forward bar programs that want a house spirit tied to a specific place.
Private Label Gin
Our gin production follows the same separate-distillation approach we use for whiskey. Each botanical — juniper, citrus peels, coriander, angelica root, and any custom additions — is distilled individually and blended after the fact, rather than macerated together in a single run. This gives private label gin partners unusually fine control over the finished flavor profile. A London dry style, a citrus-forward coastal gin, or a botanical-heavy aperitif gin are all possible within the same production framework. Pricing is $20 per bottle with a 60-bottle minimum.
Private Label Scotch-Style & American Single Malt
While true scotch must be produced in Scotland, we produce scotch-style single malt whiskey and American single malt from 100% malted barley distilled on our pot still and Scottish-style worm condenser. The resulting spirit carries the textural character associated with traditional malt whiskey. Private label scotch-style and American single malt expressions are produced on request with extended lead times for aging. Partners interested in this category should plan for a longer development timeline than standard bourbon or vodka releases.
Private Label Wine
In addition to spirits, we partner with small boutique wineries in California to produce custom private label wine. These wines come from producers whose output is often too small to reach traditional distribution, which makes them well-suited to partners who want something genuinely unavailable through standard retail. Wine programs are particularly popular with restaurants, wedding venues, and hospitality groups building a distinctive beverage identity.
Other Custom Spirits & Branded Spirits Programs
Beyond our core categories, we’ve produced branded spirits for military units, non-profits, corporate gifting programs, wedding parties, celebrity partnerships, and one-off limited releases. If a partner has a specific category in mind that isn’t listed above, our team can discuss feasibility, timeline, and pricing directly.
How Timber Creek Compares to Other Private Label Distillery Alcohol Manufacturers
Most private label distillery alcohol manufacturers in the United States operate on one of two models. The first is co-packing — taking bulk neutral spirit or pre-made liquid from a source distillery and bottling it under client labels. The liquid is generic, the client has no control over production, and the spirit has no story beyond the label. The second is contract distillation at a scale that requires minimums of 500 or 1,000 cases, which prices out smaller partners entirely.
Timber Creek operates a third model. We are a fully operational grain-to-glass craft distillery that accepts custom private label projects as a core part of our business. We distill the liquid ourselves from raw grain on our own equipment, using our own yeast program and our own aging barrels. Our minimum of 10 cases (60 bottles) keeps the program accessible to partners who would be shut out by traditional private label alcoholic beverage manufacturers.
What this means in practice:
- Your bottle contains liquid made on our working distillery floor — not bulk spirit trucked in from an anonymous source
- Your brand has a real story behind it, tied to a named distillery with an address, a production process, and verifiable awards
- You can visit the facility, meet our distillers, and watch your own product being made
- Minimums are realistic for small businesses, non-profits, and emerging brands
- Label design, TTB approval, and bottling are handled in-house
Custom Label Spirits & Label Design Services
Custom label spirits require more than just artwork — they require TTB-compliant labeling, correct proof and volume statements, allergen and sulfite declarations where applicable, UPC placement, and legal responsibility statements. The label is also the single most important branding element on the bottle, so it needs to work both aesthetically and commercially.
Timber Creek supports custom spirits labels in the following ways:
- In-house label printing. We print our own custom liquor bottle labels on-site, which removes a significant cost and timeline barrier compared to distilleries that outsource printing
- Label templates and examples. We provide examples of approved labels our partners have used, which helps new brands move faster through the design stage
- TTB compliance guidance. Our team walks partners through the required government elements so the label passes federal approval on the first submission
- Designer referrals. We maintain a list of graphic designers with spirits label experience and can introduce partners who want dedicated design support
- Specialty programs. We offer a dedicated program for custom liquor bottle labels for non-profits and custom spirits as gifts, both of which use the same private label infrastructure with workflow tailored to those use cases
In our experience, label design is the longest step in the custom private label spirits process. Partners who arrive with approved label artwork can move to bottling in a matter of weeks. Partners starting from scratch typically need four to eight weeks to finalize design and submit for TTB approval.
Branded Spirits as a Business Strategy
A branded spirits program is different from simply selling liquor. A restaurant that pours Buffalo Trace or Tito’s at the well is promoting someone else’s brand. A restaurant that pours its own house bourbon — in a bottle with its own label, name, and story — is building equity in its own brand every time a drink is served.
The economics follow the same logic. A branded spirit commands higher margins because it has no direct price comparison at the consumer level. Customers cannot check shelf prices on your house bourbon at the liquor store down the street because it doesn’t exist anywhere else. The product also doubles as a take-home purchase, a gift, an event premium, and a marketing asset that circulates beyond the walls of the venue.
Across our current partner roster, we’ve seen branded spirits work particularly well for:
- Steakhouses and fine dining restaurants where a house bourbon anchors the after-dinner program
- Beach resorts and hotels where a signature spirit becomes part of the on-property experience
- Military units and veteran organizations producing commemorative bottles tied to unit history
- Private clubs and golf resorts building member-exclusive spirits
- Non-profits and fundraising organizations using branded bottles as donor recognition or raffle items
- Celebrity partnerships and influencer brands monetizing an existing audience through a physical product
- Entrepreneurs testing a spirits concept before committing to a full-scale distribution launch
Who the Private Label Program Is Built For
We see three main partner profiles in our private label distillery program, each with slightly different mechanics.
Restaurants, Bars, Hotels & Retail Beverage License Holders
Businesses with an existing retail beverage license can purchase private label spirits directly for resale inside their venue. We can also coordinate with distributors to move products through traditional three-tier channels when appropriate. In Florida, we work with LibDib and other licensed distributors. Minimum order is 10 cases (60 bottles). Finished bottles arrive labeled and ready for service or shelf.
Corporate Gifts, Weddings, Events & Non-Profit Fundraising
Direct-sale programs for events, gifts, and fundraising bypass the distribution tier entirely. Organizations order bottles, take delivery, and distribute them directly within the project or event. Common use cases include corporate holiday gifts, wedding favors, private event amenities, charity auction items, and anniversary commemorations. Minimum is still 10 cases, but the workflow is simpler because there’s no distributor coordination.
Brand Owners & Entrepreneurs Launching Spirits Brands
The third profile is partners building a new standalone spirits brand from scratch. For these projects we offer a distributor brand program with a $5,000 production deposit that funds the initial run. The brand owner receives 100% of revenue until the deposit is recovered, then transitions to a standard per-bottle production cost. This model gives new brand founders a realistic path to market without the capital outlay of building their own distillery.
Brand launches tend to work best when the partner already has an audience — an existing business, a military or corporate network, a social media following, a membership organization, or a defined community. The distillery handles production. The brand owner does the work of building demand. When both sides execute, the model scales.
Our Brand Partners
A few examples of the brands and organizations we’ve worked with through our custom spirits program:
The Henderson Beach Resort & Spa
The Henderson Beach Resort & Spa in Destin, Florida commissioned two house bourbon expressions through our program: The Henderson Black Rye Blended Bourbon at 90 proof (45% ABV) and The Henderson Reserve Blended Bourbon at 96 proof (48% ABV). Both are poured exclusively at the resort and serve as a signature amenity for guests. The partnership is an example of a hospitality group using a branded spirit to anchor the property’s beverage identity.
Angelo’s Steak Pit
Angelo’s Steak Pit, a landmark restaurant on the Emerald Coast, worked with our team to develop a custom whiskey built specifically for their dining program. The finished spirit carries the Angelo’s name and is served as part of the restaurant’s after-dinner offering. The project demonstrates how a single-location restaurant can use branded spirits to extend its identity beyond the menu.
7th Special Forces Group & Military Unit Brands
We produce branded spirits for several military units and veteran-affiliated organizations, including the 7th Special Forces Group. These releases are typically commemorative, tied to unit history or specific missions, and distributed within the unit or sold through regimental channels.
Copper Collar Bourbon & Firesides Distillery
Our distillery also serves as the production facility for independent spirits brands including Copper Collar Bourbon and Firesides Distillery. Both are standalone brands with their own identity, marketing, and distribution. Our role is production — distilling, aging, blending, and bottling the finished spirit — which allows those brands to focus on the work of building their own market presence.
The Custom Private Label Process
The full workflow from first conversation to bottles on shelf typically takes 8 to 16 weeks, depending on the category, label readiness, and whether the spirit requires extended aging.
- Discovery call. We discuss the project, use case, category, and quantity. Partners submit the form on this page or contact our team directly.
- Sample tasting. Partners taste our existing spirit components to identify the direction for the finished product. This step happens at the distillery for local partners or via shipped samples for out-of-market partners.
- Recipe and blend development. Our team works with the partner to build the final profile — mash bill, blend ratios, proof, and any finishing treatments.
- Label design. The partner supplies artwork or works through our design referrals. We ensure the label meets TTB requirements before submission.
- TTB approval. The federal government reviews and approves the label. This typically takes 2–6 weeks.
- Production and bottling. Once the label is approved, we produce the run, bottle, label, and prepare the order for pickup or shipment.
- Delivery. Finished bottles are delivered to the partner’s location or distributor, depending on the sales channel.
