Smitty’s Sistrunk Whiskey was commissioned by Chris Smith and Desorae Giles-Smith, the husband-and-wife team behind Smitty’s Wings on historic Sistrunk Boulevard, as a tribute to the heart and soul of Fort Lauderdale’s most storied corridor. Born, in the label’s own words, “out of a love for our people, our history, our hustle,” this hand crafted, unfiltered whiskey is a bold celebration of Black excellence and Florida flavor, crafted exclusively for the heart of Fort Lauderdale’s own Sistrunk Boulevard.

The standard behind the bottle is uncompromising. By Smitty’s own charter, the whiskey must be made with 100% natural limestone spring water and at least 90% Florida-grown grains, then barrel-aged under the pressure of Florida’s relentless heat and humidity — a climate that works the spirit deep into the oak year-round. And as the label declares, at Smitty’s they take that standard even further.

Smitty’s Whiskey is created by Smitty’s and distilled and bottled by Timber Creek Distilling in Crestview, Florida — a grain-to-glass craft distillery in the Florida Panhandle that mills, mashes, ferments, distills, and barrels its spirits on site. Bottled unfiltered, this whiskey arrives with everything the barrel gave it intact: full body, full color, full character.
