The green footprints on this label are one of the most storied symbols in the United States Air Force. The tradition traces back to the Vietnam War, when the huge Sikorsky rescue helicopters — nicknamed the Jolly Green Giants — dropped into tall grass and rice paddies to pull downed airmen out of harm’s way, leaving giant circular imprints behind, as if a giant had stepped there. Ever since, green feet have been the enduring mark of Air Force Pararescue and the combat rescue community, whose creed is that others may live. In that world, green feet mean rescue — they mean hope when all else seems lost.

Green Feet Whisky was created in tribute to that community: the pararescuemen, crews, and support professionals who go out when everyone else is coming back. It is a whisky for reunions and remembrances, for toasting saves and honoring the ones who gave everything so someone else could come home.

Green Feet Whisky is distilled and bottled by Timber Creek Distillery in Crestview, Florida — a grain-to-glass farm distillery in the heart of Northwest Florida’s special operations country, a region with deep ties to the Air Force rescue and special warfare communities. Timber Creek crafts each of its private label spirits on site, from grain and water through fermentation, distillation, aging, and bottling, and it has become a trusted maker of tribute bottles for military units and associations across the Gulf Coast.
