Smitty’s Hand Crafted Gin was made, in the words of its own label, “to honor our roots, elevate our community, and pour the soul of Sistrunk into every glass.” Commissioned by Chris Smith and Desorae Giles-Smith of Smitty’s Wings as a tribute to the heart and soul of Sistrunk Boulevard, Fort Lauderdale, this is a gin with a hometown and a mission — a celebration of the culture, bottled.

What makes it genuinely rare is the sourcing. Smitty’s Sistrunk Gin is made with 100% natural limestone spring water drawn directly from the Florida aquifer, 100% Florida-grown grains, and Florida-grown juniper berries. The base spirit starts with red soft winter wheat, a grain prized for its soft, rounded sweetness. And in a category where nearly every gin on the shelf leans on imported juniper, the label stakes a bold claim: first to source wild Florida juniper berries. The payoff in the glass is a gin the label describes as silky, clean, and bursting with botanical flavor.

Smitty’s Gin is created by Smitty’s and distilled and bottled by Timber Creek Distilling in Crestview, Florida — a grain-to-glass craft distillery in the Florida Panhandle that builds its spirits from raw grain, on site, in small batches.
