Florida Single Malt Whiskey

Our Florida Single Malt Whiskey is 100% Barley and this first expression was barreled in new #3 char American Oak, so it has a bit of caramel and vanilla sweetness. We hand select barrels to blend into this uniquely Florida whiskey. This expression fits squarely within the definition of a Florida Single Malt Whiskey, produced entirely from barley and shaped by Florida’s climate and water. To preserve the natural Florida flavors, we bottle it at 90 Proof.  The flavor profile is buttery and easy to drink.

Single malt whiskey refers to a whiskey made from 100% malted barley at a single distillery, a category more commonly associated with Scotland but increasingly explored by American producers. In Florida, the combination of climate, barrel interaction, and water chemistry gives American single malt a noticeably different maturation profile. As a result, this style emphasizes grain character while allowing oak influence to develop more quickly in warm conditions.

A Florida Single Malt Whiskey should represent the best that Florida has to offer. Therefore, a Florida Single Malt Whiskey must have the following characteristics:
