Timber Creek Whiskey Southern Reserve

Southern Reserve Florida Whiskey

This is our first Four-Grain Whiskey, and it builds directly on the same philosophy behind our Southern Reserve Whiskey: each grain is distilled independently, then blended with intention to create balance, structure, and depth.

At its core, the flavor profile is unmistakably bourbon. The foundation begins with our
100% Corn Bourbon Whiskey, which provides the body, sweetness, and familiar structure expected from a classic bourbon-style whiskey. Corn delivers richness and weight, forming the backbone of the blend and setting the stage for everything that follows.

From there, we layer in 100% Florida Black Rye Whiskey, an heirloom rye grown and distilled in Florida. This rye brings sharper spice, earthiness, and a more grain-forward character than traditional Canadian rye. It’s the same rye that defines much of our
Southern Reserve profile, and here it keeps the sweetness of the corn in check while adding structure that carries through the finish.

To balance that spice, we introduce a measured portion of 100% Wheat Whiskey. Wheat softens the blend, smoothing sharper edges while enhancing the natural sweetness already present from the corn and rye. Rather than muting flavor, the wheat acts as a bridge between grains, improving mouthfeel without sacrificing complexity.

The final component is 100% Single Malt Barley Whiskey, blended last to pull the entire profile together. Barley adds subtle malt richness and a round, buttery texture that gives the whiskey cohesion and weight, especially on the mid-palate and finish.

The result is a bold, structured four-grain bourbon-style whiskey with layered complexity and a long, expressive finish. Each grain is clearly present, yet integrated. It’s a whiskey meant to be sipped slowly—one that continues to open up in the glass. It also pairs exceptionally well with a cigar, where the rye spice, corn sweetness, wheat softness, and malt richness stand up to smoke without being overwhelmed.

To preserve that full character, this whiskey is bottled unfiltered and at 100 proof.
Leaving it unfiltered allows more oils, esters, and grain-driven flavor to remain, resulting in a fuller mouthfeel and longer finish—especially noticeable when enjoyed neat.

What Is a Florida Whiskey?

A true Florida Whiskey should reflect Florida not just in name, but in ingredients, process, and environment. For a whiskey to earn that distinction, it must meet the following standards:

  • Distilled from at least 90% Florida-grown grains
  • Made using Florida limestone spring water
  • Aged in Florida, shaped by heat, humidity, and seasonal swings
  • Bottled unfiltered to preserve flavor, texture, and aroma

Together, these elements produce a whiskey that is richer, more expressive, and unmistakably shaped by place. Florida’s climate accelerates barrel interaction, while local grains and minimal filtration ensure the final whiskey remains bold, grain-forward, and uniquely Florida in character.
