Private Label Wine, Built Around Rare Boutique Producers

Private Label Wine from Boutique Wineries

We offer private label wine sourced from real boutique wineries. In other words, we do not use bulk wine and we avoid mass-market brands. Instead, the program focuses on small producers whose wines reflect real vineyards and real places.

At Timber Creek Distillery, the private label program works with a small group of wineries, primarily in California. Most produce well under 1,200 cases per year. Because of that scale, the focus stays on farming, craftsmanship, and vineyard quality rather than mass production.

These wines come from respected regions including Napa Valley, Russian River Valley, Alexander Valley, and Lake County. As a result, they express real soils, real vineyards, and regional character rather than generic blends.

Once a wine is selected, Timber Creek’s private label program manages bottling, in-house label printing, and delivery. Partners focus on their brand while the distillery handles production and finishing inside the working Timber Creek distillery.

How Our Private Label Wine Program Works

The process stays intentionally simple. Timber Creek maintains relationships with a small network of boutique wineries across California. Some vineyards sit in cool, fog-influenced regions, while others grow fruit in warmer areas with volcanic or gravel soils.

From these wineries, Timber Creek secures small barrel lots. In many cases the wine never leaves California until bottling. In some situations the winery never bottles the wine at all.

Because the wine already stands on its own, private labeling becomes about fit rather than fabrication. Clients receive wine with real vineyard origin and history instead of a generic product placed into a new bottle.

Selections change frequently. When a wine sells out, it is typically gone.

A Premier Example: Bacigalupi Vineyards

One example of the wineries Timber Creek works with is
Bacigalupi Vineyards, a respected family-owned producer in California’s Russian River Valley.

The Bacigalupi family has farmed grapes in Sonoma County since the 1950s. Over time, their vineyards helped shape the early reputation of the Russian River Valley wine region.

Today Bacigalupi Vineyards remains intentionally small. Their vineyards sit on well-drained soils near the Russian River where cool mornings and warm afternoons help preserve acidity and balance in the grapes.

Timber Creek currently holds a limited number of barrels from Bacigalupi. These include Zinfandel, Petite Sirah, Chardonnay, and small-lot rosé. One of those barrels is a Rosé de Zinfandel that Bacigalupi does not sell publicly.

This example reflects the guiding principle of the program: family-owned wineries, respected vineyard sites, and producers small enough that every barrel matters.

Red and White Wines, Always Small Lot

The private label portfolio includes both red and white wines. Examples may include Cabernet Sauvignon, Petite Sirah, Zinfandel, Chardonnay, and limited rosé.

Some wines originate from volcanic soils while others grow in cooler, fog-influenced vineyards. Because of that diversity, each selection offers its own balance, structure, and vineyard character.

Production volumes remain intentionally small. Availability changes regularly. As a result, this program works best for clients who value authenticity and limited production.

If the goal is a wine that can be reordered indefinitely, this program may not be the right fit.

Your Label Design, Printed In-House

Partners maintain full control of their label design. Artwork can be created internally or through an outside designer.

Timber Creek focuses on production and execution rather than design. Labels are printed in-house at Timber Creek Distillery, allowing timelines to remain predictable. The distillery manages bottling, label application, and delivery as part of the process.

Who This Program Is For

This private label program works especially well for:

  • Restaurants creating a true house wine
  • Hotels and resorts offering a signature bottle
  • Retailers seeking limited, story-driven wine
  • Brands entering wine without winery operations

The focus remains simple: sourcing, authenticity, and execution.
