Distillery Tours & Tastings
Visitors can go behind the scenes with a guided tour of the grain-to-glass process. During the tour, guests see how each grain is distilled separately to create signature single-grain whiskeys. Afterward, the experience concludes with a tasting of a curated lineup of spirits.
Samples often include Florida Vodka, Apple Pie Rum, Southern Reserve Bourbon, and 100% Florida Black Rye.
Bourbon Blending Experience
For guests who want to go deeper, the Bourbon Blending Experience provides a hands-on workshop focused on flavor and balance. Using single-grain whiskeys distilled from corn, wheat, rye, and barley, participants create a custom bourbon mash bill.
Through this process, they gain a clearer understanding of how each grain shapes the final spirit.
Wine & Chocolate Tastings
In addition to spirits, Timber Creek offers wine tastings featuring selections from Bacigalupi Vineyards, a historic family-run winery from California’s Russian River Valley. Each tasting pairs wine with chocolate-dipped fruit to highlight contrast, structure, and balance.
Together, these elements create a refined experience set in an unexpected Florida setting.
Private Events & Weddings
For larger gatherings, private events and weddings take place on the scenic property just north of Destin. Event options include access to the vineyard, distillery, tasting room, brick pizza oven, and a dedicated event space.
Custom packages are available for weddings, birthdays, corporate events, and private tastings.
How Timber Creek Distillery Started

Timber Creek Distillery began in 2014 with a clear goal: create high-quality, small-batch spirits using local ingredients and total control over the process, from grain to glass.
Located in the hills north of Destin, Florida, the distillery was built from the ground up. From the start, the focus was single-grain distillation. Instead of processing grains together, each grain—corn, wheat, rye, and barley—is distilled on its own. Because of that choice, mash bills can be blended with precision, flavors can be tested intentionally, and each spirit retains clarity and character.
From the first batches of whiskey and rum, everything has happened on site. Grains are milled, mashed, fermented, distilled, aged, and bottled by hand. Over time, the distillery grew beyond production alone.
Today, Timber Creek also offers a full visitor experience, including axe throwing, disc golf, private events, and a tasting room featuring vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, and custom bourbon blending kits.
At its core, however, the mission remains unchanged. Timber Creek Distillery continues to make bold, flavorful spirits that reflect the character of Florida—honest, hands-on, and built to stand on their own.
